After almost 8 hours of sleep at night, our bodies need energy to keep moving and face the day especially a busy one. However, overeating can be worse than staving if you didn’t experience it already. Not only that, but choosing the wrong things to eat can also drive you the opposite way of feeling energetic and healthy. So, here are some foods that will help you look forward to breakfast next time you go to bed;

Oatmeal Start your day with a steaming bowl of oats, which are full of omega-3 fatty acids, folate, and potassium. This fiber-rich superfood can lower levels of LDL (or bad) cholesterol and help keep arteries clear.

Greek yogurt

Greek yogurt This tangy, creamy yogurt is loaded with calcium and boasts plenty of protein—nearly twice as much as regular yogurt—to keep you feeling full throughout the morning. Your best bet: Choose a plain, nonfat variety, and add some fruit to give it some sweetness and flavor.

Avocado Add a bit of avocado to a sandwich or spinach salad to up the amount of heart-healthy fats in your diet. Packed with monounsaturated fat, avocados can help lower LDL levels while raising the amount of HDL cholesterol in your body.

Olive oil

Olive oil Full of monounsaturated fats, olive oil lowers bad LDL cholesterol and reduces your risk of developing heart disease.

Bananas There’s nothing like a banana at breakfast to keep those mid-morning cravings at bay. Also are one of the best sources of resistant starch, a healthy carbohydrate that keeps you feeling fuller longer.

Strawberries Berries are superfoods because they’re so high in antioxidants without being high in calories.

  These are just some examples of the endless choices you can make for your breakfast, just keep in mind to keep it simple and healthy, any fruit is a good addition to your breakfast and it can’t be a breakfast being healthy and full of nutrients and all the good stuff.
